Lizzy Trinh
Elizabeth “Lizzy” Trinh graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Psychology and neuroscience focus. During her undergraduate studies, she conducted research at the Helen Wills Neuroscience Institute, investigating the efficacy of a novel non-invasive brain stimulation methodology. Currently, Lizzy is a Clinical Research Coordinator in UCSF’s Department of Neurology, with aspirations to become a physician. Outside of her professional endeavors, she enjoys nature hikes, marathon running, leisure reading, and spending time with her loved ones.

My Ah
My graduated in 2022 with a degree in Molecular and cellular biology, with an emphasis in genetics before transitioning into the field of medical writing, specializing in regulatory writing for GI clinical trials. Her work involves developing study designs and reports to advance our understanding of GI conditions and therapies. Medical writing is a departure from the more conventional paths that students pursue; however, it’s an interesting field that offers a unique opportunity to shape the trajectory of healthcare.
Vimathi Gummalla
Vimathi graduated Cal in 2022 with a degree in both Molecular and Cellular Biology (with a biochemistry emphasis) and in mathematics. She is currently working as a research technician in the Pellman lab at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, where she investigates mechanisms of genome instability in cancer cells. Eventually, she hopes to pursue a physician-scientist career, and will be applying to MD-PhD programs in 2024.
